"A simply fantastic property.The layout is spectacular, the pool inviting and the garden feels like a lush oasis.The kitchen is great and the rooms are comfortable. Everything is as described.Bottom Bay Beach, just a short stroll away, is mysteriously stunning.This corner of the island is very quiet, but the airport and Bridgetown are only 20-45 minute drives away.The only small negative is that due to the fantastic layout and inside/outdoor living combination it is hard to keep mosquitoes out of the house.Can only recommend, probably the best stand-alone vacation property we have ever rented."

"ECO Lifestyle and Lodge was a beautiful and relaxing escape, far from the tourist crowds. The breakfast at the restaurant was incredible; the service from the staff was fabulous; the grounds were impeccably kept. We even got to meet the owner because she drove our "shuttle" to the other side of the island. It was also well-placed for great surfing (which is not our thing, but if it's yours, it's perfectly located). I enjoyed a quick trail run and the scenery was amazing. You can walk to the botanical garden and to a few other restaurants for the days that the lodge doesn't serve dinner. I would highly recommend and hope to return!"

"What a find! We found Farther Away accidentally. It had been omitted from my earlier searches due to my search criteria including the requirement for A/C. We read the reviews and contacted Caroline who put our mind at rest re the necessity of having this. We used the fans and these were adequate for us.Farther Away is wonderful. Secluded yet within easy reach of local beaches and restaurants but a car is a necessity.The pool was initially a bit on the chilly side, but this improved by the end of our stay. We wondered if it had been topped up prior to our visit. The large deck was fabulous. exceptional at about 600 sqft, and provided a large shady area where you can sit and enjoy Caroline's delicious home made rum punch. We were even wishing for rain in order that we could sit on the deck and watch it fall. The view over Skeetes Bay and beyond, is stunning and can be viewed through the double doors leading out from the lounge and bedrooms. The house is comfortably furnished and spotlessly clean. There are lots of towels for both the beach/pool and for the bathrooms. The showers are excellent! The kitchen is well stocked and we had every utensil and appliance we could have wished for. Caroline responded quickly to all of my messages and it was wonderful to meet her in person - she is lovely!We will definitely return! We had an "

"Spacious with plenty of modern appliances. Airy open space. Everything is clean. Quite a few steps up to the appartment. A car is recommended, which can be parked in the drive. Our host was always avaliable via the portal for any questions regarding our stay on the island."

"This is a perfect surfers location. Beautiful surf directly across the street, the pictures are accurate, the neighbors are friendly and sitting on the porch watching the surf was heaven. It is not "fancy" - if you have a high maintenance American with you this will not be your rental, but if you want a perfect surf spot to enjoy the views and relax book it. The owner was accessible by What's app as was the car rental co. Be sure to stop for groceries before getting to Bathsheba (only a little market nearby very pricey) and walk to the local spots for meals (some are open on weekends only). We needed a car. On the island you will need GPS (google maps worked) - roads are not well marked. The owner of the VRBO set us up on a fabulous fishing trip - caught Wahoo, Mahi and Barracuda. Definitely recommend if you have the right group. We will be coming back. "

"On arrival we meet Amanda and housekeeper. Promptly acquainted , and was shown all that was needed to know about property functions. Really enjoyed the area, the quiet neighborhood, our pool, and view of the ocean from our back yard. Access to walking paths around the Bottom Bay beach and watching the goats and monkeys was a daily ritual. We would certainly not hesitate to stay there again, especially with the rural quiet lifestyle ."
