The attention to the smallest details, from the bedside phone chargers to the nightlights and large TVs in each room, make the Barn feel more like a home away from home than a rental property. "

The location was perfect for exploring the Fall colors at nearby State Parks that included hiking, waterfalls, breathtaking views, and wonderful breweries and restaurants in nearby Ithaca. "We had four adults staying for the weekend to watch a boys hockey tournament at Cornell. It's a much better experience staying here than in a hotel for three days. The check-in procedure was easy, kitchen was perfect for us to eat in and have some home cooked meals and the weather was cooperative to use the fire pit out back. Thank you!"

"City girl needing some relaxation. The Hobbit house was adorable and came with everything we needed. We wanted to hike some of the surrounding falls and explore a bit, and Scottland yard property was the perfect place to come “home” to. "Michelle is welcoming and quick to respond. No issues or concerns. Was close enough to enjoy Our daughter's family weekend at Cornell and local shopping/restaurants. Farm land was walkable and we could imagine how beautiful it is when the wildflowers would be blooming. We were also able to take some great senior high school pictures for my son. "

"Great location. Only really one usable bathroom. Washing machine and dryer a little sketchy. Kitchen supplies inadequate. Luckly my sister lived nearby. There were only 3 forks. Pot and pans were mostly abused nonstick cookware with flaking forever chemicals likely incorporated into your food. There were a good amount of spices and condiments which was nice. The price was very reasonable and if not for the kitchen supplies, I'd recommend. "

"Came into the area to attend a race weekend with a group of friends and the property worked out well. Plenty of beds and bathrooms and the central area was very open for gettting together to hang out and eat. Parking was a little tricky to figure out at first, but worked out fine."

"Nice cabin, quiet location. Beds are firm but comfortable and all necessities provided. House is creaky and if you stay in the lower bedroom you hear every sound from the loft. Not unbearable but if you are a light sleeper not ideal. Water did have a sulfur smell to it but it was explained in the house info book. Communication with host was great. "
