"12 out of 10. Absolutely phenomenal!! You don’t have to leave the property ever! Beach, pool, cabanas, drinks and food. I would have preferred to stay at the resort instead of going to Old San Juan. Cannot wait to return! "

"Truly, this resort is a romantic gem, in a spectacular location! We stayed 3 nights, including 3 breakfasts (guava pancakes are yum), and 2 dinners (try the mofongo!). The ocean-front views were always wonderful: beautiful and relaxing. The pool was delightful, and we were pleased to learn horses no longer roam the property or drink from the pool. The dirt road in is quite pot-holy, and the stairway to the beach is closed due to erosion. Our only excursion was a great nighttime boat tour on the bioluminescent bay. Esperanza for us was more enjoyable in the daytime than late at night. Blue Horizon feels remote, but the destination is well worth the ferry and drive to get there."

"Beautiful spot, beautiful and unique accommodations. Friendly staff. Surprisingly good water pressure. It was a retreat from the daily travels around the island. The sounds of nature were delightful. The horses, as everywhere, were fun to have around, though the horse poop, as everywhere on the island, was ubiquitous on the property."

"The only complaint is no restaurant or breakfast to eat in this place they do have small refrigerator and microwave in the room, to go local restaurants is few places , but require a vehicle go around. This place is very private and secure, on the mountain to qet around lots hills if not familiar with the place please do your homework before resvation. Enjoy "
