"For $50-60 this is just a fine hotel. This is typical Chinese hotel, looks very nice, grounds outside are nice. It's not super updated but it's ok. English is not their strong point. Gym is not good but is good enough to get a work-out. Breakfast also fine but not strong on Western food, although they do have it. This is not a 5 star but if you get upgraded room for $109 it is quite nice. Make sure you request the most non-smoking room if you don't want your room to smell like...

"The overall environment is good and we enjoyed our two days stay. Could walk up to 1km on the beach. The only negative thing that really need consideration from the hotel management is rooms are smelly. They are too old and need renovating. Worth mentioning is I read about someone who commented here about the hotel being closer to the Daya bay nuclear power plant;that is not a nuclear power plant. It is a coal fired power plant....
