John was the most helpful host we have ever worked with, he was easily accessible the entire weekend and called to welcome us upon arrival. "Thank you for sharing your beautiful mountain home with my daughter and I. The condo is absolutely perfect, not a single detail has been overlooked. This host has thought of everything from the beautiful decor that looks like it came right out of a Southern Living magazine, coffee bar, homemade tea and lemonade jars and fully stocked bathrooms!! The beds and linens were very extremely comfortable which is important to me. This place has a million dollar view that can be seen from the kitchen, living room, picture windows in the bedroom and of course the deck. Even the deck was perfect with the outdoor couch which was perfect for stunning sunrises and coffee!! I love staying at Echota, this place has by far been my favorite! I have already booked another trip! "

"My teen daughters and I stayed here 4 nights and used the cabin as a home base for a service project. The cabin was a comfy safe haven for us when we were none weary and sore! The kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, climate control was easy, and the washer and dryer were indispensable. As with all of cabin type dwellings, you will hear creaking and footsteps from upstairs to downstairs. There are two showers, but if you use both at the same time, water pressure will be weak (common in the mountains). If you can handle these small inconveniences, don't hesitate to rent this property! "

"We were at Beech Mountain fora weekend wedding & made a short vacation by bringing our 15 yr old dog. We went on long walks and found local restaurants to be very good! We loved the privacy because I had 100 family members in town for a wedding. Only gave location a 4 because of the winding roads to and from town. We are seniors and managed them fine, Would return in summer or winter .Highly recommend!"

"Could not have been more pleased with this cabin! Very convenient to Banner Elk and Beech Mountain. Extremely clean and comfortable. Loved the hot tub on the private screened in porch! Host was most accomadating. Would definitely rent this cabin again."

"Very nice condo with lots of room and all the basic supplies you need for a few days or a few weeks! The staff members are welcoming and keep in touch to make sure your stay is satisfactory. The condo was clean, modern and in good repair. Highly recommended!"
