Nicely decorated, well stocked with dishes and kitchen utensils. Loved the pool and rec opportunities. Great beds. Could use more towels for a family of four, and an ottoman for the easy chair would be nice.

Quiet and relaxing stay
The home was well furnished and clean. It was also in a great location! Only 5 minutes to multiple eateries as well as a general store where we could buy groceries. It was also only a 6 minute drive to a few hiking trails and within walking distance of a playground for our kids. It’s a great place to stay to explore Beech Mountain and the surrounding areas. Also, gorgeous views and every person we interacted with about town was very friendly. Really enjoyed our time here! The only reason I’m leaving 4 stars instead of 5 is some of the extra amenities like shuffleboard, putt putt, and tennis were not available because it wasn’t clear where to find the equipment. And though the home is clean and well renovated, the building in which it is situated is very shabby and needs some much needed renovations.

a perfect little getaway for two
We loved our time at Sweet Escape. It was well stocked with the essentials, the perfect size for two people to spend a week away, and had everything we needed to work from "home". Wifi was decent - we never had an issue. The amenities were a big hit! The indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna were a major bonus in the November cold. The pingpong and pool table were also so nice to be able to pop over to as a break from the wfh monotony. There are plenty of places to eat close by. Highly suggest First Chair Coffee for your daily cup. Would stay again for sure!

The condo was furnished beautifully and was in a great location. Due to there not being any air, the condo had a smell to it. It was a mildew smell. The kitchen table and living room table were extremely sticky like they hadn’t been cleaned before our visit. The floors in the kitchen and the living room were the same.

Nice little condo
Comfortable 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house. Kitchen was well stocked and the livingroom was comfortable. Beds were adequate but pillows were pancake flat or lumpy. Getting to the unit was tricky signage is not great. Also accessing the unit from the parking lot is interesting there is no easy direct route.

Nice place but terrible property
This condo is well-equipped and nicely furnished. We had everything we needed. The view off of the deck is beautiful. However, the property itself is in bad shape and is a terrible design. It took us a while to even figure out where the condo was. The numbering system is ridiculous. Make sure you get a map of the location of the condo. Don't count on the signage to help you.

Yeah the condo was very well appointed...as nice as we have ever experienced...BUT...the access to the condo IS UP TWO FLIGHTS OF STEPS THAT HAVE OVER 15 STEPS EACH AND VERY VERTICLE...it was difficult going in and out....and the steps WERE NOT IN the description

You get what you pay for!
I have owned 2 separate units in this complex in 2002 & know this resort. The price was right for a 3 night stay with my grandkids & the only thing we enjoyed was the indoor pool because the top of Beech Mtn. Can be brutal with the fog, wind & cool temps even in the summer. The manager did not help me get the entry lock fixed so we had to leave the unit unlocked all the time. Unacceptable. They said they would come out & fix the broken entry right away next day but never showed, called or explained why. Sorry, I’ll never trust Vacasa again.

Great condo, tough location
The condo was great, super cozy. The problem was the route that was needed to access the room. You needed to go through a series of doors and stairs to get to your room. Which led us handing bags and mountain bikes over the railing of the porch to get our belongings into the condo. This is the only negative thing I can say about the property.
