"This is an older style resort with lots of different spaces for children and adults including a small gym, games area etc. Unfortunately the spa treatment area was surrounded by stagnant water while I was there - otherwise it would have been a lovely setting. The little vegetable garden is cute. The pool is lovely as is the beach. The staff in the restaurant / bar are wonderful. "

"I felt I had been misled when we arrived at the hotel as the pictures on the listing show a well manicured hotel with a quality finish. The pictures were taken quite some time ago and the hotel is now in need of some love. The rooms are nice and they leave little animals made out of towels on your bed which is lovely, but the pool area and restaurant are a bit shabby and the buildings need a coat of paint. "Facilities old, in need of updating and repair. Beach access decrepit, dangerous. Beach bar in very poor repair, breaking down. Poor, inadequate, forgetful service. Spider, centipedes, mosquitoes in room. Poor towel service. Adequate food. Poor coffee. Poor service follow-through - never received order I placed for kalamae. Not deserving of posted four stars - a one star facility - not recommended"

"The property was lovely, all the amenities we wanted, and the team made us feel right at home. Unfortunately, due to nearby construction noise we were unable to complete our stay. The owner was an absolute gentleman, and gave us a full refund. The property was fantastic. We hope to return next year, but we need to make arrangements to deal with the steep driveway in a better fashion next time."

"Nice hotel, needs a bit of upkeep. Pool area was very nice and taken care of. Cottages had many small openings around the windows for mosquitos and critters to enter the room- recommend you take a roll of packing tape or similar to seal holes. Breakfast was adequate at best, we felt like eating out instead."
