"We had a ladies friends weekend away in early Nov. Beautiful cottage with everything you need. Log burner was fab and ability to have extra check out time for a small fee was worth it. Having the added bonus of the spa pass made the weekend extra special. The owners are particularly excellent and quick to respond with any of our questions. All good - highly recommended. We intend to return."

Because of its location car parking is not easy residents get very protective of their perceived space and put cones and no parking signs outside; in the summer months parking must be even worse. "Elm Bank is a beautiful cottage in a perfect location in Lower Swell. The listing is accurate, if anything the pictures do not quite show you how large the cottage is. We were more than comfortable as a group of six adults. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of pots and pans, the fridge is expansive, and there's plenty of storage for food and other necessities. "This cute little cottage is just a short walk from the train station. It is across the street from the beautiful church. All was as expected in terms of cleanliness, comfort and peaceful. Kitchen has all the essentials. Market close by. Stairs were steep and not safe for people with mobility issues but for us were manageable. Great restaurants near by. "
