Carleton is a couple of miles from the bridge to the mainland, so a convenient place to overnight prior to heading home. Not may restaurants close by, tho a breakfast cafe at the hotel for the morning. good acomodation for our purposes. "

"We forgot my aunts cat carrier and they notified us, also they gave us a larger cabin because we have a toddler at no extra cost. Summer, autumn, winter this is the only place to stay. We had to stay a half hour longer than expected and there was no issue. My husband loved the porch and the calmness of the location. There’s even a fire pit! A true hidden gem on PEI. "

The view was wonderful from predawn glimpses of lobster boats to gorgeous sunrises. The amenities included everything we needed. A smoke detector battery ran low and that was addressed immediately. Communication withNatalie was great! Highly recommended!!"

We sat on the back deck and watched the sun setting over the water every evening and watched the sunrise from the front deck every morning. We traveled all over the island and were happy to have the house to come back to each afternoon. We appreciated having the long set of steps to get us down to the beach.
