"This is a big hotel in Okuhida onsengo area, having amasing baths (onsen). We came for both the springs and the winter illumination experience and we had both. Loved it. The outdoor baths (shared) are great. We also tried hida meet as well as local hotel specialities, like turtle soup and caviar, highly recommended. I would love to come back one day."

The food was also delicious and more than I had expected. Communication wasn't too easy, but the message would get across. The best part was, of course, the onsen (hot spring) experience. They offer both public (gender-separated) hot springs and baths, as well as 4 private ones that don't need prior booking or extra fees. Getting there...
