I quickly realized that there were no hotel rooms available on such short notice so I decided to peruse VRBO in the slight chance I might find something close that would give me a nice quiet place to lay my head since my family already had a full house. I came across Flintlock and was immediately drawn to the images of the gated and lit entrance into what appeared to just be a beautiful tree lined...

"The property is comfortable and cute. The games outside made for a fun evening. It was a bit hard to find since GPS said to turn a few driveways early but we found it. Nice getaway and management was easy to reach. We would stay again."

The primary bedroom Ac was not working at full capacity and the outdoor seating area/grill area needed a deep cleaning but overall we enjoyed our stay. The manager was very responsive and helpful."

"The location is aptly described as “country living at its best.” Close to eating and shopping in Roanoke, but nicely secluded from the close by subdivisions. The house layout was very comfortable for our family. Three separate families interacted easily. Especially enjoyed the large kitchen area. House itself is well maintained."
