"We absolutely loved this house! You have so much privacy and you don’t feel like you’re “in the city” but you’re 10-15 minutes from anything you could ever want. The house is so beautiful and spacious, beds so comfy, and the alpacas were the icing on top! We couldn’t have had a better time. Sean and Melanie were so great and very responsive, we enjoyed chatting with them each morning while getting to feed the alpacas! We have already decided to make this property a yearly girls trip!! "

"The Retreat on 2nd was the perfect place for a relaxing week in Justin. It was very clean! The owner was very responsive when a minor issue can up. The location is great to walk to the shops and restaurants in Justin. It is also very convenient to TMS. We will stay again. "

"The location is aptly described as “country living at its best.” Close to eating and shopping in Roanoke, but nicely secluded from the close by subdivisions. The house layout was very comfortable for our family. Three separate families interacted easily. Especially enjoyed the large kitchen area. House itself is well maintained."

"The property is comfortable and cute. The games outside made for a fun evening. It was a bit hard to find since GPS said to turn a few driveways early but we found it. Nice getaway and management was easy to reach. We would stay again."

"this was a great spot for us while visiting family in Boyd! a bit of a 'driveway' to navigate, but with AWD vehicle - ok! since it had rained a lot!!! also, the gettting out to open the gate and close every time, a bit of an inconvenience but ok."

"The house was beautiful with large rooms and adequate space for a family gathering. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The only issues we had were that the extra shower and sink in the half bath had very little water pressure and there were only 3 forks in the house. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay very much and will probably visit again. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this Vrbo. Tucked away in the countryside, it was the perfect peaceful escape. The property was beautiful, spotless, and so serene- exactly what we needed to recharge. Waking up to the sweet goats in the morning was such a fun and unique touch. Even though we were close to home, it truly felt like we were a world away from the city. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!"

"We held a family reunion with 14 adults and 6 toddlers / infants and this was one of the only places available in the Dallas / Ft Worth metro. If you are looking for a no-frills spot to just hang around the house together, this one is for you. The pool was a hit, but the host does nickle-and-dime you with a charge by the hour for the hot tub (it does get hot quickly). The house is in okay condition, but it could use some improvements. "Everything was wonderful thank you!Will recommend to family&friends.It was so fun waking up to the peakcocks on the front porch! Cons:Drive way was a little hard to find when we arrived late at night. And im not sure if it was mentioned in your listing but the house is not handicap accessable, my grandmothers walker could not fit in the small doorway of the bathroom. And we couldnt find a cutting board! "
