"We had a wedding at The Drover and secured a home for more space. It was so close to the Stockyards and The Drover. Tons of room inside to lounge comfortably. Host was very kind and quick to respond. "

"Sweet place with the bedrooms & baths we needed, and all the amenities like kitchen supplies, bath products, plenty of towels, blankets, & pillows. Attractive decor. Wonderful relaxing pool & deck area. Very attentive hosts. A couple of the appliances were having issues, so the host said they would look into those. Convenient location. Really enjoyed staying there!"

"This was the perfect place for our family to gather and relax during our son’s wedding weekend. It was located well, central to all of the venues for the weekend events and was the perfect size for 8 of us. Very clean and well-appointed. Was too cool to swim but the pool was beautiful and everything was well maintained. Host was prompt to respond when I had questions and very accommodating. I highly recommend this property!!"

"We stayed here for the beginning of our spring break, which also included my birthday. We had an amazing time. We caught a few fish, relaxed on the back porch, played lots of board games, and listened to the record player (great surprise). The weather was beautiful, even with the wind. We used the kayaks to paddle out and even found some big clam shells. The house has been renovated and fit our family of 5 perfectly. I would stay here again. "We really enjoyed the old school Texas ranch style house which has been updated and modernized. Really neat to see what they did and the property is amazing, with plenty of space to unwind, enjoy a sunset or watch March madness basketball, which we did. I enjoyed communicating with the host and he was very helpful. It was very competitively priced and its appeal to me was that it is not a VRBO in a subdivision. Highly recommend this place."
