"The shower floor was very slippery, with no grab bars. I fell. The bathroom did not have an exhaust fan so was steamy after a shower. The soap and shampoo dispensers yielded very little when pushed. May have been clogged. Otherwise, very well appointed, clean and quiet. "

"This boutique hotel is a former private residence and is absolutely gorgeous. The staff can't do enough for you. The included breakfast is made to order and at 6 in the evening there is a wine & cheese hour, sometimes with entertainment. During our three night stay there was a magician doing some card tricks one evening and a Fado preformance another. The grounds are beautiful too and there's several resident peackocks strutting their stuff. I have no hesitation recommending this gem of a place."

"Being a solo traveler on this trip, this was a perfect location for rest and relaxation. I loved that the property is right along the shore/on the beach. I thoroughly enjoyed being able to open my balcony door and listen to/see the waves. The standard, first floor room was a good size with a comfortable bed and nice shower heads in the bathroom with hot water (hot showers are important to me). The complimentary bottle of wine and breakfast buffet included with my room rate were very nice touches. As well, the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Mariana was a lifeline as she assisted me in getting around by looking up bus and train schedules and suggesting apps for me like Bolt, Omio and Moovit in addition to answering any other questions that I had for her. Sofia was willing and available to help when I needed also. I got a great value for the service and amenities that I received, and I would definitely return to Arribas Sintra without hesitation. "

"This was a great spot to stay in Sintra! It was a quick walk from the crazy bustle of the tourist area and had a wonderful shared space to relax. The property is well stocked and extremely homey. I would definitely stay there again!"
