"This lovely property is situated idyllically right on the sound, with gorgeous sunset views, comfy beds and truly delightful decor throughout. VERY clean. Nice quiet, yet friendly neighborhood. The ocean side is a 3 minute drive away, and the overall location was near enough to everything our group wanted to see.Our only issues were supplies: For a 4-night stay, we were left only 2 pods for the dishwasher (and after each cycle there was always a clump of hardened detergent left in the dishwasher dispenser), only 2 pods for the clothes washer, and NO extra trash bags. Communication with the "host" - a property mgmt company - was OK, except when I texted to see if add'l trash bags were perhaps stored someplace we hadn't found, I got what seemed to be an automated reply that ignored my question and instead told me what days the trash is picked up.We all agreed we would stay here again the first chance we got!"

Fantastic view. Really enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the pelicans, cormorants, and gulls as well as the jumping mullet. Mike is an excellent host! This is our second time staying at Mariner's Terrace. Definitely would stay again. "

"A great little older beach motel. Easy walk to the beach near the back of the property and restaurants within walking distance too. The village is small and mostly residential, yet there is a Food Lion and several restaurants and shops within a mile or so. "

"This was the perfect little place for us to stay in the OBX. Everything was clean and you could see the beach from the top deck. Everything worked in the kitchen ( we went to food lion and cooked almost every night ) Everything in the description was correct. The hot tub is out of this world! I will be staying here again! "

"We can in town for the fishing tournament. And this was just the right fit for our little crew. We enjoyed being able to have a place where we could bring our puppy with us. The pool area was nice. Maybe next time we can try it out in the summer. The house is clean and very open upstairs in the living area. "

"Exactly as listed, I’ve been coming to Avon yearly for decades, (anyone have a nice place for sale?) This property is right on 12 basically as soon as you get into town. Walking distance to the beach and Froggy Dogs. The pool table and arcade games on the first floor are a nice touch. Would recommend and stay again. "
