"Very walkable, convenience store close-by. Canal & boats about 10-15 min easy walk. Reakfasr is excellent. Comfortable room-we didn’t have much of a view but didn’t matter as in room to allow. Comfortable bed, crisp linens. Very enjoyable stay Be certain to take one of the boat rides, we did it @ sunset & it was unique. Planned to do a walking tour in am but person cancelled @ last minute."

"We were actually called the day before to change hotels to As Americas a 4 start hotel for the same price. 10 minutes walk from the Aveiro canals though. The hotel was very nice but we only had a view of a roof. The kingsize bed was hard a rock but very clean and nice bathroom. The room had a humid musty smell so I advise the hotel to air out any rooms before a client checks in. There was excellent free breakfast and free onsite parking. The service was also excellent. "Wonderful hotel in a wonderful town. We stayed in three other "nice" hotels on our Portugal trip, and this one was so much better than the rest. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and made you feel like a "Guest" not just a number. Clean and beautifully decorated with everything prepared to a very high level. Lovely bar with piano player every night. We can't wait to stay there again!"
