"Check in was very simple. House looked exactly as the listing shows. It’s located super close to restaurants and downtown but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. We had to park at a public parking area on the other side of the river and left our car there for a couple days. There was no issues with the parking besides it being about 5 minutes away. You can walk to everything in less time than you could drive. Beautiful town and great accommodations!"

"Very walkable, convenience store close-by. Canal & boats about 10-15 min easy walk. Reakfasr is excellent. Comfortable room-we didn’t have much of a view but didn’t matter as in room to allow. Comfortable bed, crisp linens. Very enjoyable stay Be certain to take one of the boat rides, we did it @ sunset & it was unique. Planned to do a walking tour in am but person cancelled @ last minute."

"Wonderful hotel in a wonderful town. We stayed in three other "nice" hotels on our Portugal trip, and this one was so much better than the rest. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and made you feel like a "Guest" not just a number. Clean and beautifully decorated with everything prepared to a very high level. Lovely bar with piano player every night. We can't wait to stay there again!"

"7 minute walk from the train station, sort of midpoint between the station and the canal area, right by the shopping mall. Which makes this location walkable. Plenty of bars, cafes and eateries near by although I was there on Christmas eve and lest things were shutting down I got a takeout from the food court in the mall. Shower- nice and hot, good pressure. Noise- given my room faced the main street the insulation was surprisingly good. I did hear some street noise but mostly sound proof...
