"The facilities are very modern and well-maintained. The refrigerator contains bottled water and welcome cookies. A coffee machine, sugar, coffee cups, and even a can opener for your beer are provided. The room has fine finishes, air conditioning with heating, and a huge water heater. "We really enjoyed our two night stay in Manarola. Boutique hotel an easy five minute walk from the train station. Check-in was quick and easy. Our host secured a reservation for dinner quickly at Trattoria dal Billy featuring fresh fish and a spectacular cliff side view of the sunset. Our large, comfortable, well appointed room had a peekaboo view of the town square and sea. Unexpected bonus was a shared terrace with a spectacular unobstructed sea view. The view is really nice. 2) Walk a couple of steps to cafes, restaurants and local grocery shops and even key sites in Riomaggiore, because it's small. 5 to 15 minutes typically. 3) Host was very helpful, balancing attention and privacy. 4) Quiet and comfortable bed. Note there are 2 ways to get to the accommodation from the train station. One with stairs (Riomaggiore is after all on hills), another up slope but no stairs. We chose the...
