"The apartment is nicely renovated, inviting, and well laid out for living and working while you stay. I had to do some remote work during my visit and the home office space was a nice spot for it. The house is in a pleasant residential area that's a short drive to downtown Haverhill and the commuter train to Boston. Everything was clearly explained and communicated - check in, check out, navigating the space, etc. Local pastries waiting for us upon our arrival were a lovely touch!"

"Please read the entire review. I will say my first impression of checkers was very disappointing. Upon walking in, the bed had been slept in, used towels on the bathroom and kitchen floors. "We were in town for a few days and selected the location based on great reviews of the property and Nelson's hospitality. We are so glad we did. We booked a 2nd floor apt but 24 hours before, Nelson let us know there was some weather related damage and moved us right to the 1st floor. We appreciated the quick problem solving because the hotels in the area was already sold out of rooms. The apt was beautiful, quaint and offered unexpected amenities like candies and mini toiletries.
