"We had a lovely overnight stay at this hotel We booked a standard golf course view but we were upgraded to a larger golf view which was very nice. Huge room and large bathroom. The food was very good only the evening meal choice was very limited. My only disappointment was that although the hotel is called a spa hotel, t doesn’t have a swimming pool. This seems misleading as I have never come across this before, I should have looked more carefully on booking but spa hotel, I just presumed "

"the only 3 star is for the lack of A/C. It's Europe so we knew there was no guarantee of A/C so we rolled with it. I believe they are working on installing A/C. We had a small fan in the room which helped the first night. It was quiet pleasant with the patio doors open the 2nd night! Loved the patio. Great space. Very charming property in a fantastic location. Staff was wonderful. "

"Great stay in Oxford. The location is a short walk from the city centre and an even shorter walk to the historic Oxford Castle. The staff were very pleasant and helpful any time I had questions. The only downside is occasionally I did get a distant whiff of sewage if the bathroom door was left open. (I blame that on the age of the building.)"
