"I really enjoyed my stay at Santuario Getsemaní Hostel. The mixed dorms were the most private I have experiances yet with walls on behind you and to either side and an adjustable blind at the front. Each bed has a small lock box inside for valuables, shelves and your own plug socket and light, it felt more like a room than being in a mixed dorm honestly. The room had an AC and fan as well which made my nights very comfortable. Lucia, Mir, Cat and William were very friendly and helped me out...

"J'ai beaucoup aimé mon séjour à l'hostal, il n'y avait aucun irritant, tout fonctionne bien, les drains, la pression et la tièdeur de l'eau de la douche, la grandeur des salles de bain. Le lit était confo, l'espace intime avec des prises de courant. J'ai apprécié aussi l'endroit pour fumer. L'hostal est parfaitement bien situé au coeur du vieux Cartagène. Décoration très belle. "Pleasantly surprised! Tucked away in La boquilla, ( not a very rich area) is a beautiful retreat. Cold room, stunning balconies and rooftop. Full kitchen. Only place to eat is next door, closes early. I used Rappi for other meals beach is long and swimable. The whole town come out in evening to play soccer it's a very lovely family town. "I booked and paid on expedia, upon arrival the clerk tried to say i had not paid, then he tried to charge us more saying i had not paid the full price. I had to show him my records before he finally decided i had paid...it felt like a scam, he did apologize but it still felt like a deliberate act. Additionally while in the room, staff members would periodically enter the room and take pictures, i founf this to be disturbing. "

"I love this place SO MUCH! It's such a hidden gem, the Uber driver actually had to ask a young boy where it was, even though we were about 50 feet from the property. (It shares space with a kitesurf shop. Just look for the gear hanging on the wall.) Heavenly private! I was skeptical that such an inexpensive room could actually have a view of the ocean, but they were telling the truth. Five minutes after checking in, I was swinging in my own hammock, hanging from the walls of the veranda...

"The staff is beyond friendly and helpful. That's really what makes this place worth staying at. The room for me was wayyy too small with not even enough space to open my suitcase in it, but the staff was very helpful and understanding of why I ended up staying somewhere else. It's a beautiful space, but I would only recommend it if you are a light packer/minimalist. The location is great for walking around the Getsemani and walled city area. "
