"We spent a week staying at Villa Laruga, Argegno, on Lake Como. The Villa is only approximately 1.2 km walk from the Argegno, where there is a ferry stop and restaurants. From here we caught ferries around the lake to various villages and gardens, they were beautiful. However, the highlight of our stay was the villa with its beautiful garden, set right on the lake & constantly changing vistas over the lake. How often do you get to stay in a villa on Lake Como? "Lovely location and a characterful property. A bottle of wine and coffee pods to welcome us. Bedrooms were fine but living accommodation was quite basic. We would ideally have liked more cooking facilities. Marina was very pleasant and happy to give advice about the area."
