"Location is great. Facilities are great. Front desk great. Felt that hot water did not last sufficiently long for a family of 4. Had golf cart parked on our parking space and when we tried driving around it to get to our unit we scratched car on the hedges which is unfortunate as it is a rental car. Some issues with bugs getting into the house which we had to remove as one of the members in our family was bug phobic. "

"The house was bigger and nicer than I expected. The view is incredible! So fun spotting coatimundis and hummingbirds even from inside the house through the big windows all around. Raul was the most helpful and friendly host - he even pulled our car out of a ditch! Lillian's dinner was from heaven - perfect meal for our family after arriving from a long day of travel. Thank you for such a nice time in Monteverde!"

"Attentive property manager, super clean and centrally located. Read the review about the barking dogs so was worried but we slept just fine. Other places we stayed had loud dogs surrounding it but this one was fine. Nice house close to everything. "

"I was pleasantly surprised by how this gem is tucked away behind the hotel. You are close-by to help if you need, but you are still far enough to get your full privacy. It’s quite a romantic hideaway. I’d say it suitable for a couple or a small family (due to the sleeping arrangements). The shower pressure is remarkable but the size of the shower is outstanding-biggest shower I’ve ever seen. The tree branches will sway back and forth against the windows, which creates this peace and tranquility...

"Property is as described. It's dated but well cared for. The caretaker is great. PLEASE note. Last few kilometers of road are not paved...we had 4x4's was fine. Closest supermarket is a 40 minute - hour drive. Beach isn't the best for swimming but totally remote and private. We loved this place. "

The pros of this property are its relatively inexpensive price for the number of people it can sleep. The one major drawback was that there was no place for everyone to sit together other than the kitchen area (i.e., there is no living room type of area for seven people to sit down as the place is configured to use...

"Everything was dirty in the property, from the shower curtain full of black mold to coffee maker and fans. Streets are full of garbage outside, smell of sewages and garbage is everywhere. In the shower we found worms and spiders. They even did not have the cutesy of cleaning the dishes, we had to re-wash everything before use. It was horrible. We decided to leave for a hotel the last 5 days of our trip."

"BUYER BEWARE No hot water and beach is dirty. I contacted Vacasa before confirming reservation to verify had hot water due to previous review. I was told I would have hot water but never did. The pool water was warmer than the shower. The company was notified as soon as we knew there was no hot water. Beach is very dirty due to ships waiting to get into port and dumping garbage while waiting. We did see monkeys and birds which were beautiful. Sorry for the bad review I tried to work with you."

"Wow what a great place to stay for a night or a month or longer. The place has all you will need to have a fantastic stay. Small kitchen to prepare your own meals if you so choose, dining table to have coffee at and eat. Comfy bed. Was all we needed and more than we expected for the price we paid.
