"The Lodge was very convenient to where we wanted to be. The reception staff was really pleasant and helpful. The room was a pleasant surprise. A good size with ensuite and with a wonderful kingsize bed (which was really comfortable) and a quite stunning view of the cricket ground. We both had a really good night's sleep . "There were not curtains or black out curtains on the windows. The mirror had emotion detection led lights and as I was trying to switch them off I found a syringe, thankfully without the needle. I'm very disappointed with the overall condition of the room."

"The hotel room was large and well furnished, though the bed was slightly uncomfortable and I think the mattress had seen better days. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good and catered pretty well for our vegan diet, though the vegan milk options were somewhat limited.
