"My stay at El Misti was superb!! I stayed in a private room during 7-13 November. It was my first time in Rio, and this was the perfect place to meet people!! They organise lots of events, and having easy access to the beach with a ticket for a free chair is an addes bonus! I can definitely recommend El Misti to others, and will likely stay here (or at least visit the amazing bar during happy hour!!) when I return, muito obrigado El Misti!! Tom"

"Wonderful staff. The place itself is very well located, but the bunkers are not very solid and are made from light wood (I was on the top one and all night waking up because every time the guest underneath me moved, the whole bed moved too). The communal shower is also very tight. Overall, budget friendly for backpackers who don't mind a certain degree of discomfort "

"Ambiente maneiro , bem localizado , mais não consegui dormir bem , pois o quarto compartilhado estava muito quente , sai durante a madrugada diversas vezes para poder me referescar na recepção que estava bem geladinha. O atendente na primeira vez que eu sai do quarto , me ofereceu o controle do ar do quarto para poder ajustar , mais quando da segunda vez em diante que sai , ele ficou ciente , que o problema era no ar condicionado, pois eu sai diversas vezes para me refrescar . Na manha seguinte...

"Central location , metro very close takes you in 20 minutes to Copacabana or any other beaches. Top security in the building itself . Apartment near new , huge with a sea view , comfortable bed , hot water . Elevators fast and reliable . I will back here for next Carnaval"
