"I had a tiny private room with an even tinier bathroom. Had I known how small and bare bones my accommodation would be I probably wouldn't have selected it for a 5 day stay. However, it was clean and within walking distance of the beach and other landmarks."

"My stay at El Misti was superb!! I stayed in a private room during 7-13 November. It was my first time in Rio, and this was the perfect place to meet people!! They organise lots of events, and having easy access to the beach with a ticket for a free chair is an addes bonus! I can definitely recommend El Misti to others, and will likely stay here (or at least visit the amazing bar during happy hour!!) when I return, muito obrigado El Misti!! Tom"

"Wonderful staff. The place itself is very well located, but the bunkers are not very solid and are made from light wood (I was on the top one and all night waking up because every time the guest underneath me moved, the whole bed moved too). The communal shower is also very tight. Overall, budget friendly for backpackers who don't mind a certain degree of discomfort "

"Longboard Paradise Surf Club was awesome! We only stayed one night and wish we had more time to stay for multiple nights! Everyone was so friendly, the space was super cool and the food was great! "

"It's a really interesting property they have a hostel and they have a separate set of rooms that are made out of shipping containers but have been modified to be hotel rooms. Each one has its own air conditioning units and key that you can lock the door with. You can enter the property at any time with your key fob but they are also available to open the door if you ring the bill you can walk to the train station from there but I would not suggest going at night. "Quite central and convenient. Kitchen area not great and the room was very noisy because it’s a lively area. Showers were very clean. Good for a night because of location but I wouldn’t pick this place for my full Rio stay "

"Poor experience given the price paid which was $30 per night for a dormitory. The breakfast buffet is minimal and dissolved quickly by people who literally thrust it into their bags without any oversight, and from thereon it isn't replenished correctly for all the other guests.The guy responsible for making the breakfast was super rude too. The entire place isn't effectively cleaned either which is sadly the reason why I have to give 1 star. Even with the few negatives expressed, I was itching...

"Great place to stay it’s like a mini apartment. Fully equipped with kitchen microwave and fridge. Out of all the places I’ve stayed in Rio this has been the best. WiFi works well too. If you have issues you message 360 via WhatsApp and they solve the problems and help fast. "

"I have stayed over 30 times and its a great place with convenient location to restaurants, shopping galore and great views of Copacabana Beach. It has a recently remodeled rooptop infinity pool and solarium. Now, the breakfast buffet auditorium is a disaster. The hotel is always full so breakfast areas are jammed packed and the buffet is mainly at one wall. They should consider having 2 main areas (one being the present wall and the back wall) and 2 separate satellite for breads, cold cuts, juices. I'm telling you, on our last day there must have been 500 people inside. We turned around and went and had breakfast at a local restaurant close by. It was way too crowded. It's a shame"
