"Loved the hotel ! We visited primarily to visit Martin Luther sites…though we also fell on love with town of Wittenberg, such a cool town…we ate a n Italian restaurant (close to church on other side of tow -which was walkable)…that was excellent "

"The beds were a little hard but we like softer beds. The pillows were a little flat. Room was decent We ate at their restaurant and the food was very good and the beer cold. "The staff was friendly and courteous, it was conveniently located for seeing the Luther related sites in Wittenberg, and breakfast was quite good. But, the hotel/room decor is quite tired and needs updating in almost all areas. The towels were worn and frayed as was the carpeting on the stairs. The shower/tub is quite high and a bit of a challenge for older travelers. In our opinion, not deserving of the 8.7 Expedia rating. "

"Great outdoor pool (should be open until 10pm) and spa area. (indoor pool, hot-tub, different saunas, steam rooms etc.) Property needs some renovations for the rooms (very outdated and worn out) AND an Air Conditioner! It's not okay to put in a tiny little fan to keep the warm air around?! I mostly enjoyed my stay (because I know this hotel/restaurant) but I would not recommend to family and friends.
