"I can't imagine a better place to stay. Utterly beautiful. Room was massive and comfy. The restaurant was beyond amazing. And the staff was lovely. If you happen to get stranded in a small town in Germany, this is exactly the spot you want to be in."

"Great outdoor pool (should be open until 10pm) and spa area. (indoor pool, hot-tub, different saunas, steam rooms etc.) Property needs some renovations for the rooms (very outdated and worn out) AND an Air Conditioner! It's not okay to put in a tiny little fan to keep the warm air around?! I mostly enjoyed my stay (because I know this hotel/restaurant) but I would not recommend to family and friends. "The history of the property is amazing. The double room, with bathroom, was simple but perfect for our needs; clean, comfortable and quiet. The location is perfect for exploring Lutherstadt; so much to see and take in. Many of the buildings have plaques that indicate who lived there and the dates. We recommend the onsite restaurant not only for starting your immersion into the history of the area, but also for the delicious food. We wish we had more time to spend here! The breakfast included with the room is excellent. This is a unique accommodation that shouldn't be missed :-) "

A lovely place

"It was really nice place. Room is a little small and there really isn't a place to eat. We rearranged the chair and used the little table they had. Our only complaint was a sewage odor in the room. Like a cap was left open to the sewage line. We sprayed cologne and it was ok. Check into it and your place would be perfect. "

"Everything was fantastic! Large rooms with lots of space, huge bathroom with a tub, extremely comfortable bed, and free drinks! I only have 2 minor complaints. First is that housekeeping should NOT be trying to get in my room at 8am, that’s way too early considering that checkout is at 12 noon. Second is that there’s nobody at the reception desk until 1pm, I wanted to ask about staying another night but nobody was there. Overall, it was a really nice place in a great location. "
