We rented a boat from the Sugar Hollow Marina and were very pleased to discover how close by it was. The dock and the deck were wonderful places to hang out and enjoy the lake and the views. "For the most part it was very quiet and peaceful. You are close to the road so you can hear the louder vehicles when they pass. The cabin is older but in very good shape. Everything worked as expected. Lovely deck with locking gates which was nice for taking the dog out. There is ample parking but if more than one car you will need to be strategic. Ultimately we enjoyed our stay and would rent again."

"Only stayed one night, it worked perfectly. Slept 3 of us perfectly and the fold out couch was super comfortable as well! Very clean and only 15 minutes from the main part of Knoxville. Easy check-in and check-out process. On the very end of a road in a nice neighborhood so it felt very secluded and safe. "

"This cottage was adorable and perfect for an overnight stay! It was spacious and clean! Great shower pressure and comfy bed! Had difficulties finding the cottage at night. Before getting to the large private drive, you will make an immediate left (it will look like you’re driving into someone’s driveway) but the cottage will be on the right! Already planning a trip back and WILL book this again! Brian was quick to respond and extremely easy to communicate with! :)"

"Tricky drive. Steep climb from dock to Lookout. To be fair, it looks like the high percentage of homes on Norris lake had steep climbs from dock to residence. I think it's called, vacation in the mountains! If I had one suggestion, it would be some kind of sun block for the deck in the evening. It faces the west and would be more pleasant with an awning or something. We loved our stay ! Steve and Kathy are great hosts. Such nice people. Norris lake is the prettiest lake I have ever been...
