"This was a really well-appointed home with enough space for groceries and cooking. We loved the deck, the bed was comfortable, and the AC units will freeze you out of there! Loved the view and the host was amazing; we even hosted our wedding on top of the container home. It was perfect for us; we're a rural, rustic couple and thought this was right up our alley. "

"My husband and I enjoyed a very comfortable stay at this cute, well-appointed, well-looked-after, and well-stocked apartment. Our on-property host, Carmen, was attentive and caring (but not obtrusive), sharing some picked-off-the-tree bananas with us, as well as letting us know about a serious (but soon canceled) weather alert. Her two dogs were happy hanging out on her front porch, not bothering us (the people who prefer cats to dogs!) or barking at us. We did have some trouble finding the property, but if I had just clicked on "directions" in the vrbo listing, google maps would have used coordinates to take us directly to the place, no problem. If the vrbo listing shows Whim Road, use the same street number BUT use Morales Drive for google maps. The kitchen seemed to have everything you need for making meals. We made some simple meals, but tended to go out once a day for a meal (especially liked Alba in Fredericksted for tasty local food). The apartment is a very quick drive to Armstrong's, where we bought pints of locally-made ice cream to keep in the freezer. There was some food (left by other guests? Carmen?) in the fridge and cabinets -- you may want to see what food is in the apartment before you go grocery shopping! The apartment is in a residential neighborhood, which means that there are chickens, roosters, and even a female peacock roaming the streets -- so you'll hear them when you're inside the apartment. We didn't mind it, since it's part of living "local"."

"Stayed here for significant wedding anniversary and the house was very comfortable. It was also very close to Sandy Point Beach which is a gorgeous western tip of the island and a definite place to visit. Our host was so friendly and helpful with suggestions and communication with him was almost instantaneous. "The colorful plants, Bannana Tree, open breathing house, high tech water and power systems. This whole experience is the essense of an island experience and a healing place of beauty. Check in code confusion was texted back instantly, for 3 people who think they understand technology obviously it took a minute but we designated Dan the Key Master and it all worked out. Kitchen is gorgeous, the dinner we made my mom the last night was the trips highlight. Roosters crow all the time, one sometimes right in the tree outside the house, I love birds, and enjoyed it, but be aware. If it were my house I would put a bunch of roosts out and just collect free eggs forever!!!Tesla Wall, Solar, Cistern with top notch filter, its a cool house that feels smart and alive. I want a month next year, atleast 2 weeks! 6 days wasnt enough!!! "
