"The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel was tropical and welcoming. We could walk everywhere in town. We’d recommend staying there. Only downside was the water in the shower was hooked up backwards and we didn’t know, but it worked out after talking with the friendly staff at the desk "

"This property is old but has a lot of potential. It has a historic feel and is really cool. However, it could use a refresh. It’s loud around there, as there is a club next door. But it’s super convenient and so close to shopping, places to eat and the boardwalk! It’s inexpensive and did the job for a last minute quick trip to the island. "

"Nice staff and great view of the ocean. Parking was sometimes difficult due to the restaurants. A bit of a rougher area was a short walk away. That area felt safe during the daytime. The Waves always felt like a safe area."

"We had a great time, we were allowed early check in, room was clean and the view from patio was awesome!! We loved the service, food and activities at pool and bar. Definitely recommend, only downside was not a swimmable beach. But there’s so many great beaches a short drive away. Rent a car for sure, it’s an adventure!!!"

"We had heard mixed reviews of the Fred but we had an excellent experience there. The room was very nice - comfy bed, big shower, two balconies and amazing ocean views. The restaurant was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was great. Would definitely recommend to others. "

"Everything was great about this tour. Captain Curtis and his First Mate Joe were fantastic. They made it fun with music, dancing, food, snorkeling, etc... If you are in Saint Croix stop by and visit them for a tour. "

Exploring the island

"Our stay at the condo was great. It is centrally located on the island, so we could drive anywhere we wanted to go easily. It is a few minutes drive into Christiansted where there are plentiful restaurant options. It is close to groceries and gas stations. JoAnna was a very responsive host and helpful with recommendations. Check in was easy, the place was clean, the complex had a nice pool. It was quiet during our stay. I would stay here again."

St.Croix Christiansted Great Accommodations

"My sister and I had to find accommodations very last minute. We booked literally a couple days before traveling from the US to St. Thomas. I am always leery about private rentals as so many times the promo pictures do not align with the rental. That was not the case here. Great location, easy access, Property Manager was very nice and the owner was so nice & helpful. She went above and beyond to ensure my sister and I got to the island via Ferry (we chose the QE IV Ferry). The location really was so close to where we needed to be, it made the trip that much better. Thank you so much! 4 thumbs up!"

Unbelievable ocean views, sounds and breezes.

"Absolutely amazing location. Close to everything we needed yet far enough out away for peace and quiet. The Pelican Cove Condo campus is very well tended and has a delightful beach and pool. The Danish building we were in has the very best ocean views and breezes. The 2 bed 2 bath unit had plenty of sleeping and living space inside and a balcony space that we spent much of our morning and evening time on. Beach gear was available. Staples like toilet paper, hand soap, dish and washing machine soap were supplied. Cupboards did have an assortment of spices and can goods, but some were questionably aged.Property manager and owner were both easy to communicate with and very responsive to a couple issues. The beds and patio furniture were comfortable, but the living room really could use an upgrade to something that one could watch a ball game comfortably on. A super good scrubbing might be in order too. Basic cleaning was ok if you didn't look to close or into corners and trim. Despite those two things we would likely return just because the setting was so perfect."
