"This was a solo 4 night stay whilst touring. For the price, I didn't expect too much and as it turned out it was a satisfactory standard of accommodation for what I paid. Bed was nice and comfortable, good ceiling fan but no AC. Overall the room was generally clean, however if you opened a drawer, it had definately not been cleaned for a while. "My booking showed breakfast included, hotel guy declined saying they don't have a kitchen. We reached early and for less than 3hrs charged me 500 which I paid Expedia 800 for a day. 10.45am he came knocking on the door since 11am was checkout. After requesting him that I had come for a race event and woked up at 4am, just an hour late for checkout, again he was telling 500/-. "The DoubleTree Hilton in Ahmedabad might be compact, but it certainly makes a good impression. The room was cozy and offered a comfortable stay, though the breakfast buffet fell short of expectations compared to typical Indian hotel standards—the chai lacked flavor, and local specialties like fafda didn’t quite capture their authentic taste. On the bright side, the coffee shop behind the lobby stands out as a highlight, with courteous and attentive staff making the experience even better. The outdoor seating area is another gem, especially at night, staying open until 2 AM and offering a lovely ambiance. Despite its shortcomings, I would gladly choose to stay at this property again during future visits to Ahmedabad. Special mention to staff from coffee shop ‘Shobhit’ he is a great! "
