"The apartment is wonderful! So nice to have a 2bed/2bath with a well stocked kitchen on a quiet, lovely canal street. There were some eggs, butter, soda & beer in the little fridge along with some condiments which was so kind of Wessel. Also, coffee, tea & some spices were also provided. "We very much enjoyed staying at this property. It was in a nice area around a lot of coffee shops, restaurants and pubs. It was also closely situated to the Zoo and the University in a neighborhood of locals. This gave it a nice mix of energy while we were walking around. We could easily walk to Centraal Station, Rembrandt Square, and all of the major museums. There is a light rail stop one block away, which we also appreciated. "

"Staying with Sebastian was fabulous! The VRBO was in a quaint quiet location with easy access to all parts of AMS. We were able to get to and from Kerkenhof in a breeze. The bed was extremely comfortable. The entire VRBO felt very spacious with plenty of room spreading out. We had welcoming cheese, wine, tulips, coffee, and cookies waiting us. We felt exceptional safe. We will definitely stay here again and recommend family use as well. "

"The photos which were sent with our confirmation showed a 3 bedroom 2 bath apartment. That isn’t what we got. The email had information for 2 different apartments. The photos provided should be of the apartment the customer is going to get. A picture speaks a thousand words. Mario was pushy. I wanted to carry my own luggage but he practically pulled my suitcase out of my hand after I repeatedly said no thank you. Will not recommend this place."

"Loved the location. Communication could have been better prior. Had to ask for towels and a hair dryer. He accommodated quickly. Would stay there again since location is in the heart of Amsterdam. Crazy stairs up to unit, if you have climbing issues beware. Couch in living room is really a small futon but he did provide an air mattress. Probably best for only 2 people in unit or a small child with parents. Overall good!! Loved Amsterdam!!"

"Our stay at the Canal House was just what we had envisioned!! Perfectly located near everything that we wanted to see and do and the accommodations were perfect; quiet, clean, and comfortable!!Evert was a great host there if we needed anything but did not try to be part of our experience.The only challenging thing is the stairs to the 2nd floor apartment, alone they are fine with luggage it is a test of strength and balance, but the trip up is more than worth the effort."

"The location was very convenient for walking or taking an Uber to locations throughout the city. Since there were three women in our group, having two bathrooms was a plus. We enjoyed being able to relax in the spacious living room each evening. The kitchen has everything anyone would need during their stay including coffee and tea. Arjen, our host, carried our bags up and down the stairs and during a tour of the area he introduced us to nearby restaurants which we visited each night. "
