"We stayed here for 4 days in September. It's a beautiful property with great amenities and very friendly and attentive staff! It's in a quieter part of the island (a short walk from the Alaia), and the beachfront near the hotel is not the nicest, but it didn't impact the enjoyment of our stay. We loved the property! The only drawback is that the breakfast included in your stay is a very basic continental breakfast that is very repetitive, so we often ended up ordering off the breakfast menu at an additional cost. All in all it's a great property and I'd definitely stay again."

"Matachica resort and spa was absolutely incredible. From the moment we got off the airplane, Matachica staff was there to pick us up and take us to the resort. We highly recommend renting a Casita right on the beach. What an incredible view from our bed. It was absolutely amazing up there every morning. Also, great options for excursion adventures. We did a half-day tour Swimming with sharks and stingray. Our tour guide Chris Was incredible and recommend booking the tour with him. The food was also very delicious and we recommend this place to anybody interested in a nice anniversary getaway."
