"Stoney Creek Hotel saved the day. We came to St. Joseph, Missouri to see the Mosaic Mural art installation for my grandsons 10th birthday. For reasons unknown to us, the art work was missing the section that my grandson participated in. After a 5 hour drive across 2 States, we were all tired and cranky. We would have never guessed something like this would happen, and we didn’t have a back up plan. Thank goodness we chose Stoney Creek for our overnight stay. The heated indoor/outdoor pool...

"The view of the river was wonderful. The fire pit with wood was really great! This is a duplex and we were on the side closest to the parking. The people staying on the other side had to walk back and forth in front of our windows or behind us if we were sitting outside. That was very awkward. "The area is full of large stately homes from the heyday of St Joe. It was pretty quiet at night but close to some nice restaurants and shops. Really easy to get anywhere within St Joe. We enjoyed a walk along the boulevard system - a 5 min drive and dinner at the Frederick Inn (3 minutes). We were here to visit family. "
