"Perfect place for a quiet weekend! "

"Early April is just at the cusp of spring in this area. There were lots of people heading to the state park on Saturday, despite the damp weather. We were visiting Penn State, which had lots of different events scheduled and enjoyed being close to campus ( 15 mins) but also miles away from the crowds with our two children and one dog. The house is very rustic, but well-appointed with newer fixtures (particularly in the kitchen) and has lots of dishes and cookware if you're planning to self...

"This was my 2nd stay. It’s a nice little cabin with the very basic necessities. The beds are comfortable and the place is relatively clean. The downstairs does have a bit of a dog smelt, but nothing overwhelming or terrible. The description is very accurate. Internet is a bit slow and WiFi signal isn’t very strong. The hosts are very kind and communicate in a timely manner. I would stay again. "

"We were going to and from the Juniata Field Station during the weekend and this property was a great location for us. While there is no lake view, it is nice and close to the lake. There were four of us and we hosted two more for dinner one night. We had plenty of space, everything worked well, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfasts, lunches, and dinners.
