"Arrived for a 1-night stay and stayed in Room 4 for 3 adults. We parked directly out front where there is off road parking for 2 cars (please note that the curb is not lowered to access this). Location was quite quiet overnight which I was surprised about! Owners were very friendly and offered advice and leaflets on places to visit! "Delightful quirky accommodation; staff very friendly, lounge very homely with lovely log burner and plenty of glasses to enjoy your own drinks, snacks or takeaway food etc. Large communal tables which gives lots of opportunity to meet and socialise with other guests. Although our room wasn’t large it had everything we needed and was full of character. Alnwick has lots to see and do and lovely restaurants."

"The dining room decor was amazing taken from the ship Olympic. Linen tablecloths changed after every meal. The staff were friendly and super efficient and the food was excellent. The bedroom decor was tired and room servicing was below par, water glasses not cleaned. The bar staff were not always available and when we went for a nightcap after the theatre the bar was shut at just 10pm"
