"Delightful quirky accommodation; staff very friendly, lounge very homely with lovely log burner and plenty of glasses to enjoy your own drinks, snacks or takeaway food etc. Large communal tables which gives lots of opportunity to meet and socialise with other guests. Although our room wasn’t large it had everything we needed and was full of character. Alnwick has lots to see and do and lovely restaurants."

"We attended a wedding and stayed in the cottage for just one night, was close to the venue clean and tidy slept six. We weren’t in it really just to sleep. The following morning had breakfast at the joiners arms which was beautiful l."

"We enjoyed our recent stay here. The room was excellent with a spotless new bathroom and comfortable bed. Better pillows would have been nice but not a problem for a short stay. The food was very good but the service rather slow. We weren't in any hurry but 30-40 minutes to produce breakfast after ordering seemed a bit excessive. Staff were all very friendly and helpful so positive overall."
