"First time visiting Alicante. The Hospes Amérigo was excellent. From arrival to departure. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a minor issue with our room which they resolved in minutes. My only flag would be the access to the shower. Anyone who has restricted mobility or is unsteady on their feet may struggle. I would definitely recommend this hotel. "

"The hotel is a small part of a big residential building, it’s a different experience than other hotels but when we visited ( January ) it was just perfect, it was not too busy, it was mostly locals and we thoroughly enjoyed the sunny days. Great sea view from the malvenu and even better from the lobby, the restaurant is very small- be aware that you need to state what time you’ll be having dinner as they can’t accommodate more than their capacity for dinner. Breakfast a quite basic but it’s ok...
