"Excellent position for visiting all major attractions. We never saw Reception manned the whole time of our four night stay. Cleaning was only every other day and you needed to request it and coffee was not re stocked. On the day of our departure we asked if we could leave our luggage and this request was denied"

"I dropped Deb at our hotel, Domus Atilia, as the parking was actually in a public car park 300m away. The lady (whose name I never got, sadly) was fantastic. She spoke almost no English but was incredibly knowledgable about the town and its ancient history and with the help of Google Translate she did a good job of educating us. "This is a lovely place once you find it - it’s a bit off the beaten track. Nice gardens and setting but nobody there. The housekeeper met us as we arrived at midday but she didn’t know which room we were supposed to be in so sent us away and said check in was at 2. Our room was big enough with nice bathroom and separate terrace which opened onto the garden and pool area. Another couple arrived about 8.30 the following night and nobody was there to meet them.
