"Cosy little house,very nicely renovated with wooden floors and a pleasant enclosed back garden. It has a homely feel to it and is in the quaint village of Alfriston in a fantastic area. Brilliant for walking with loads of local footpaths. The house is on a busy narrow road and parking is in a public car park 200m away. Fully equipped kitchen /diner and two good sized bedrooms and large bathroom. We had a really nice stay. "

"This house was perfect for me, my husband and my sister. We were at a lunch party on Haying Island and we were able to easily drive to Sheffield Park in the light. The parking was so convenient and the cottage was extremely well equipped, not that we needed a washing machine. I would unhesitatingly recommend it. We tried to set off the dishwasher just the once, but the top shelf was attached by elastic bands and so we didn't risk putting anything there. Had we been going to stay longer I would...

"This cottage is lovely, we fell in love with the well equipped kitxhen and pantry. The garden qnd house was lovely for our Labrador Gatsby. We went out and explored the downs and the coast everyday. Lovely pub qt end of road. The host is amazing, so friendly and helpful. We plan to come again"

"Nice, clean and comfortable property. Every that you need is supplied. Mobile & WIFI can be a bit patchy due to rural location but not an issue for us. Local area was not good for dog walking due to the wet conditions over last few months and did not want to bring back a mucky dog. Nearby Lewes was a good town with choice of shops, cafes, pubs & restaurants. Nearby ‘Rainbow’ pub do an excellent Sunday carvery. "A very pleasant long weekend at North Lodge. Location is peaceful but well located, plenty of amenities nearby. The house is cute and full of character. The kitchen/diner is a particularly nice space with patio doors out to the pretty little garden with mature shrubs and seating area. The kitchen is very well appointed. The bathroom would benefit from a bin and unit/stand to put products/wash bags on when in the bath. A few hangers in both the double bedrooms would be handy. The beds are...
