"I highly recommend Casa Azanik. We had a party of 7 family members, but we could have accommodated so many more. The booking process was extremely efficient, and the concierge helped us book shuttles and activities. The manager and the daily caretakers helped us navigate Akumal wonderfully. Although we did eat at some local restaurants, our favorite meals were the ones prepared for us at the villa. The pool area right on the beach made snorkeling, kayaking, and relaxing in the pool and the ocean...

"Just got back from our week long stay at this house and there is nothing bad to say, its all amazing. Everything is as described, the house is on one of the better sections of beach with good snorkeling out front. Plenty of shade or sun, whichever you prefer. Pancho and Mercedes kept the place spotless and Mercedes food was fantastic. The pool was also a great configuration for our non swimmer 3 year old. About half of it is 2ft deep with a drop off to a 6ft deep end vs starting off shallow...

"Beautiful property and nice, quiet neighborhood. For such a beautiful home, I would have expected some basics like cleaning supplies, sponge, paper towels, toilet paper, also salt/pepper, oils for cooking, etc. The water was not safe drinking water and purifier made it taste salinated and terrible. Also, showers need to be cleaned better as they are full of mold. Pool needed to be cleaned and the nearby gym equipment was all broken. The transportation system to the beach does not include this...

"Casa del Mar is a wonderful house in a wonderful location. This is my 4th time vacationing in Akumal and this is my favourite hosue out of the 4. It’s nice and private with jungle greenery on one side and a rocky shore few people walk on. You can walk down the shore (wear shoes) to the beach at Half Moon Bay or in the other direction to Akumal Beach to swim and snorkel. 5-10 minute walk (or quick golf cart ride) to many amazing restaurants. We did takeout most days so we could eat on the patio...

"We have been going down to Akumal since the late 90's with owners of like business in the US. In the past we have rented several condos in half moon bay. This is the first time we have rented a large facility. It was perfect for all of us. We had 3 father and sons. So they were able to stay in the same rooms. The 13 bedrooms was perfect. Felipe was a great host. The instructions of getting from the airport to Villa Bellamar was great for the few that had never been to Akumal before....

"Our family of 15–ages 14 to 80–had a fabulous time at the Villa Turquesa. The home was perfect for a big family. It is well equipped, clean and comfortable. The staff is delightful and kept the place sparkling clean and in perfect working order. There is snorkel equipment and plenty of kayaks to make exploring the reef a pleasure. Our kids and grands said out of 27 years of family trips, this one rates up in the top 3! "
