"Location is beautiful but inconvenient as there are no restaurants close by or convenient stores. There were many different types of smells, all unpleasant, as you walk into reception, the bathroom, the hallway and your room. The pillows were made of wheat and were incredibly small and uncomfortable. The futon beds made you itchy and were quite thin. "We stayed here and were impressed with the service. It is primarily a ski hotel and we needed to transport our baggage down the slope at an early hour...the staff willingly did it by tobaggan. This is a traditional japanese hotel...witg futons and communal bathing area which was fun to experience. Snow monkeys were fun to see."
