"We stayed in satoyama room with 5 people, which was perfect fit. We enjoyed our room with the open air bath and shower outside, a living room and the sleeping room. The room had 2 separate toilet rooms. Breakfast and dinner were of japanese cuisine, amazing!! We used the public bath and it was beautiful. Hotel perfect for watching sunrise. It was beautiful view of lake as well. The hotel also had a little arcade and a wine bar and cafe and had massage services. They helped us carry our stuff to them room and during meal times they made our rooms. We had a very pleasant stay!"

"Very enjoyable and relaxing 3 days at Ryokusuiten. The staff there are the best. Enjoyed in-room hotspring and nightly Kaiseiki. We pre-ordered different dinner for each night with very reasonable added price. Would love to go back again."

"This place was cool, and had an emphasis on Americanism, with President roooms including a JFK room. It was really nice to experience! We noticed lot of school kids stayed in the hotel, probably for the American historical context, or that it was just right by one of the main train stops. Either way, the people in this area are all so nice and friendly, way more thab the big city of Tokyo. Genuinely enjoyed our stay around this place, and there's a ton of food options nearby, including a giant mall. The room we stayed in was pretty big, and the hotel staff are very helpful! Definitely reccomend staying here to explore the area, and to go visit Otsu and Koka Ninja House which isnt far from this hotel."
