"I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The rooms are beautiful. The hot breakfast is delicious. The location is convenient. However what sets this hotel apart is the absolutely amazing staff. They picked me up at the airport on time. When the tours I booked myself cancelled, they found me replacements. When my flight out cancelled, they kept on top of it, and worked to arrange another hotel for the night. This staff is first class!"

"Where do I start? Patricio met us at the airport with a smile, hug and a necklace of flowers. There followed a short car ride to Mara Hare Repa, where we are greeted by the owner, Marcello like two old friends with glasses of fresh juice. Accommodation was basic but clean and bright. Perfect base for sleeping then going off to explore the island. In either direction a short walk to the sea with rock pools, Moai heads, surfing and eateries. A short walk in the opposite direction will bring you to a supermarket and the main street where you can buy artisanal gifts from silver jewellery to carved Moai heads made from stone or carved from wood. Also here you can hire quad bikes or bycicles to explore the island. We were lucky enough that the owner was available to take us to the volcano for photos and then onto the beach where we swam in the Pacific ocean and ate the most delicious local tuna. The breakfasts and evening meals we had at the hotel were made from fresh ingredients, made to order and delicious. M and P helped make our days in Rapa Nui truly memorable. Friendly, helpful and professional we can't wait to visit again. Thank you very much M and P, we will be returning."

"Amazing stay in a lovely, quiet property. Incredible and personalised service from day one from all the staff. Rooms very specious in a house set up, nice and cosy pool. We booked a half board package and dinner at restaurant excellent and big portions, friendly service. The package included private tour per day (with snacks and drinks) which was a great plus considering tour prices on island. Also pick up and drop off at airport. Definitely a great property to enjoy the island and totally recommended"

"This was a clean, simple cabin which was very spacious for a family of four. There was a full kitchen that we could use. Breakfast, which was included with our stay, was delicious and varied from morning to morning. The cabin is also accessible to the town, even without a car. It's about a 20-30 minute walk. However, there are taxis that you can call or hail in the town. Driving back and forth is roughly 5000 Chilean pesos or 5 USD. Most importantly, the hostess was wonderful. She was very clear in explaining all of the amenities and gave us transfers to and from the airport. While taking us from the airport to the cabins, she gave us a brief and useful drive through fo the main town so that we knew where things are. "

"Maunga Roa Eco Lodge made our stay in Easter Island an absolute dream. The home was beautiful, decorated very nicely, quiet, and the absolute most amazing view one could have on the island. You are away from the hustle and noise from the town and can truly have a retreat with peace and quiet. The host was amazing and made sure everything was perfect. We enjoyed coffee on the covered deck overlooking distant Ahu and the ocean and even cooked a couple meals in the well appointed kitchen. Every day there were fresh towels and bath mats, we even got some fresh eggs from the hosts farm. You will love this gem of a retreat. The view alone is simply worth it.
