"This property is beautiful and conveniently located and the staff was incredible and extremely accommodating! The only reason I won’t give it five stars is due to our AC going out twice and our fire alarm low battery going off at 4 AM. For a four night stay, we had issues three of the nights. Otherwise, the rest of the stay was fantastic. "

"The property was absolutely perfect in accommodating the three couples that formed our gathering … the piscina and beach were exactly what was needed to unwind …the stag at Tesoro, although not affiliated with VRBO , were very helpful and friendly … one of the highlights was Axel coordinating a cook to prepare us two traditional Mexican dinners ( one each week of our stay) in the well equipped kitchen in the unit. All in all, the best vacation our group has had in Ixtapa in years"

"We had a great time at Marea. The property is beautiful, very nicely kept. The beach is just wonderful, practically all to yourself as there are not many other hotels or restaurants on the beach. Our only disappointment was that the restaurant only serves until 5PM. We would rather enjoy more time during the day and have a later dinner, so this did not work well for us. "This is a condo building not a hotel (no on site restaurant, store etc, but you can request daily housekeeping). It is located on top of a steep winding road, very quiet and private, AMAZING views of the bay. They were communicative in advance of our arrival and we could text anytime we needed something. A water dispenser was provided so we didn't need to worry about going to the store for bottled water. Well appointed kitchen with everything we needed to cook meals at home. Beautiful tastefully...
