The hosts hadn't had guests who wanted to use it in the winter before, and it took a couple days to heat up. "Great location, especially for exploring the Bellingham and Mount Baker areas. The vacation home is right next to the main house, which you can't quite see in the pictures, so it was a bit odd at first, but we never saw or heard anyone (and hopefully they did not hear us!). Amenities are cute, but small. Did appreciate squeezing a king-size bed in the space. And for two people, the kitchen, bathroom, and living space is perfect.
