"The house is comfy and clean. Bedding was cozy. Kitchen was clean. Nice furniture. Outdoor deck furniture wasn't cleaned off/wiped down -- which would have been nice since that should be part of the cleaning fee. It is in a nice neighborhood in Glacier, WA. Which has a great restaurant (Gunners), decent coffee shop, and a store. Lots of hiking nearby, and the Nooksack river a couple blocks away. "Absolutely loved my stay here. I was looking for a nice place to escape from everything and this was perfect! Beautiful views of the deck, and on the beach, and even driving to the house. Super clean and simply, yet perfectly decorated. Stocked with anything you could need. Very responsive and helpful hosts, and clear directions listed. I would strongly recommend visiting this beautiful, quaint island and staying at the Huckleberry!"

"We loved our stay in this cozy clean cabin. I loved sitting on the porch looking at the beautiful lake. The location is perfect for what we wanted to do. And so close to the border if you plan on going. The hosts were great and answered my questions with kindness ( even a couple photos). And made sure we were comfortable and had anything we needed. "This property exceeded our expectations in every way. The cabin was exceptionally clean, comfortable, organized and decorated for the Holidays. Sue left us delicious scones, a nice bottle of wine and treats and toys for my grandchildren. She is the most thoughtful and thorough host that I have encountered in 50 years of traveling. "The location was great. We rented the cabin for a girls week and planned on doing most of our meals at the cabin. The kitchen amenities were adequate. The beds in my option weren’t comfortable. The water pressure was okay and there was a slow drain in the downstairs bathroom. The information book needs to be updated. The information was dated around the early 2000’s. Overall not a bad cabin but definitely more of a boys cabin then a cabin for a girls week."

"The cabin was just what we wanted…clean, comfortable and close to all the hiking we wanted. Would recommend to anyone heading to Mt Baker. "
