"Carlos is a great host, very personable, and can speak English. This location is super prime because it is steps from Plaza Grande (the main park and cathedral in downtown Merida). Our suite was equipped with a kitchenette so we were able to make some of our meals in and save money! The kitchenette was equipped with a coffee maker, blender, pots, a pan, dishes, cutlery, cups, glasses, and basic utensils. This loft is Merida's best kept secret, and has very reasonable rates!"

"This boutique is a block or so from Paseo de Montejo. My favorite street in Merida. GREAT location. Walkable to everything. Tons of restaurants. Nelson, the manager, was so welcoming, hospitable, helpful, thorough and highly communicative. It’s a lovely, quirky layout that worked perfectly for me. Definitely one of my favorite places now. "Workers there most of our time there. Pool was not a pool but a tank basically. Bottom was dirty snd needed cleaning. Hard to use it when workers were right there. Bathroom light never worked. "The real stars of this place are Rosa and Ismael - who own the four rental units and live on sight. Rosa and Ismael were an absolute delight and we developed an easy friendship, with Rosa practicing her English with me and I learning some Spanish and the history of the yucatan state.
