"The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a good location with two water taxi stops nearby but it is also an easy walk to the other areas of the city. There were some nice options for food and drink locally as well. We would definitely stay here again. "

"We had a great stay here for 3 nights. The location was absolutely perfect for everything we wanted to do. Quick walk to the water taxi for train station, and short walk to San Marco square. The friendliest employees and our room was great. We stayed in the suite with two king beds, our 20 year old son was traveling with us and was perfect!"

Wonderful time!

"We enjoyed our short stay at Monte Carlo. The staff were friendly and helpful! We needed transportation from the cruise port to the hotel and they did an outstanding job taking care of all the arrangements! The room was clean and quiet. Love the location! My only complaint is the bed was too firm for us. But everything else was wonderful! "

"The hotel is conveniently located at the foot steps of the water bus and xfr to airport boat. It is also close to all shopping and dinning. You have to plan on walking a lot. May be six or seven miles a day. One draw back is the hotel is pricy but it is a new construction and it is nice. Everything in Venice cost more. "

"We had great help from the reception staff with 3 separate items in which we needed help (not issues or problems) regarding luggage, food and recommendations. Housekeeping and breakfast staff were very responsive and helpful too. All very friendly and thoughtful!! It is on the 3rd floor of a building overlooking a canal. And yes it has an elevator/lift. We had something shipped here for us and they were super accommodating in receiving it and holding it for us. Thank you very much!! Breakfast included a variety of choices for food and drink. All fresh and tasty in a nice open area. Very attentive to requests. It’s a small hotel with spacious rooms and excellent service. Grazie mille Valentina per il vostro servizio!! "

"Location was great for walking central Venice and the plaza. Being able to get picked up by water taxi right at the hotel was very convenient. Everything was clean and well kept. Breakfast was good. One complaint was only one, single cup coffee machine in the breakfast room which resulted in a long line and wait to get coffee and chaos at breakfast."

"We have stayed here on all our visits to Venice and we like the history of the property and the location away from the hustle and bustle. Easy access to public transportation, but also easy to walk to the sights or just to wander down little side canals. But the main draw is the people. They are so very hospitable and helpful and make each visit feel like coming home. "
